Dragon Capital’s press center officially announced that it was selling its stake in Chumak. The buyer is the largest agribusiness company in Asia - Wilmar International.
On May 23, 2019, the AMCU announced permission from Flottotrade Limited to acquire shares in Crestone Investments Limited. Thus, the buyer secured an excess of 50% of the votes at the company's management level.
The exact amount of the contract of sale is not announced.
Chumak is a food company founded in 1996 by Karl Stuner, Johan Boden and Hans Rausing. One of the largest producers of food in Ukraine and tomato processors in the CIS. During the year it processes about 100 000 tons of tomatoes. It produces sauces, ketchup, mayonnaise, tomato paste, canned vegetables, sunflower oil, juice and pasta. The company of Tomáš Fiala Dragon Capital and the Swedish investment company East Capital bought out 70% of Chumak’s shares in March 2008. In 2017, the company received a net profit of UAH 29.8 mln.
Wilmar International Limited is a company processing oilseeds, producing palm oil, biodiesel, oleochemicals and fertilizers. Founded in 1991. The headquarters is located in Singapore. The distribution network covers about 50 countries, including India, China, Indonesia. The group includes more than 500 factories. The Ukrainian branch Delta Wilmar has been operating in the country since 2004.

Аgricultural holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) announced plans to invest EUR 200 mln in the next 4-5 years into the production base of the Balkan company Perutnina Ptuj. On November 20, 2018, MHP announced the purchase of a 90.68% stake in Perutnina on the website of the London Stock Exchange. The deal is scheduled to close by the end of this year.

Saudi company SALIC UK Ltd (Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company, Great Britain) bought most of the assets of the Mriya Group, including a technical park, infrastructure facilities and companies that own the right to lease a land bank.

The largest shareholder of OJSC "Myronivsky Hliboproduct" Yurii Kosiuk has sold 100% of shares in Berezanska Poultry Factory to five Cyprus companies Proscar Trading Limited, Digomax Limited, Sitate Limited, Gresley Holdings Limited and Pentamorfo Limited, which had not previously owned securities of Berezanska Poultry Factory. Terra Food Corporation intends to purchase 8.016 million shares of the “Trostianets dairy factory” PJSC (Vinnytsia region) or 86.0981% of the securities in circulation, delo.ua reported. According to the announcement from Terra Food Milk Ukraine Limited in the disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, the corresponding shares is planned to be acquired from "Milk Alliance" PJSC.

According to Ukrrudprom with reference to "Capital" publication, the economic court of Kiev on 7 and 9 July passed a judgment that the Finance and Credit Bank is the owner of 3 companies belonging to the "Club syra", namely Svetlovodskiy butter and cheese factory, Bobrovitskiy dairy factory and Milk canning plant. These companies, as well as Karlovskiy dry milk plant and Mironovskiy dried whole milk plant "Sommas", which were won by court action back in 2013, served as a security interest for the loan in the amount of USD 34 million.

According to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Vinnitsa company "Vinfort" is allowed to concentrate over 50% of the Odessa champagne factory, which is part of Gruppo Campari since 2009. The main products of the factory are the wines under the trademarks "Odessa", L'Odessika and Henri Roederer. Gruppo Campari itself produces liqueurs Campari, whiskey Wild Turkey, champagne Cinzano etc.

Agroholding "Industrial Milk Company" (IMC) bought additional 60% in LLC "Agrokim" (Chernigovskaya region) with a land bank of 16 thousand hectares and facilities for the storage of 195 thousand tons of grains and oilseeds. Deal value is USD 18 million. Earlier, in August 2013 Agriholding IMC has acquired 40% of LLC "Agrokim" for USD 12 million.

According to the newspaper "Kommersant-Ukraine", the "Western Milk Group" (TM "Komo") gained control of Kanev butter and cheese factory which formerly belonged to the "Club syra". The "Western Milk Group" refused to comment on the information. However, the source of "Kommersant-Ukraine" has confirmed that Kanev butter and cheese factory is being bought by the "Western Milk Group", but the deal has not yet been closed.
