The Dragon Capital group of companies announced in its press release about the acquisition through the Dragon Capital New Ukraine Fund L.P. over 50% of the shares of Treeum Holdings Limited, the owner of the well-known business media resources finance.ua and minfin.com.ua. The AMCU gave permission to acquire a controlling stake in November 2020.

MTS announced the sale of a 100% stake in Vodafone Ukraine to Bakcell, an Azerbaijani company.

MTS Ukraine (now operating under Vodafone brand) reached an agreement with “Ukrtelekom” to buy its 3G-operator brand “Trimob” that belongs to Rinat Akhmetov. The closing of the transaction is planned during 1H 2016. The first negotiations to buy Trimob back in 2011 produced a UAH 3 billion price tag as was requested by “Ukrtelekom”. Current price is somewhat different - some sources speculate around USD 100 million.

The Turkish telecommunication company Turkcell signed an agreement on purchasing 44.96% of shares of the Ukrainian SCM Group in the Eurasia Telecommunications Holding BV (Netherlands), which owns 100% of the LLCAstelit - the Ukrainian mobile network operator life:).
