Russian Pervy Kanal withdrew its share from the TV channel Inter. According to the notification of Group DF, the company GDF Media and its affiliate Inter Media Group purchased minority blocks of shares from their partners - 29% of shares which belonged to Pervy Kanal JSC (RF) and 10% from the company Pegas Televideniye, which was owned by the widow of the founder of Inter Igor Pluzhnikov. This information was announced in the notification of Group DF.

Representatives of the company stated that 29% of shares which previously belonged to Pervy Kanal JSC (Russia) were sold at market value. The price of this block of shares was USD 100 mln.

As of now, 100% of shares of the TV channel Inter are completely controlled by companies owned by Dmitry Firtash (majority block) and Sergey Liovochkin (minority block).

According to Forbes, the net revenue of Inter for 2013 was UAH 679.8 mln, and the loss constituted UAH 268 mln. Net profit of the TV channel for 2014 was UAH 331 mln, and the loss was UAH 194.5 mln. According to Industrialnyi Televizijnyi Komitet, Inter has the largest audience among 18+ in cities with the population of over 50000 people, with a share of 12,62% Considering all audience (4+, all Ukraine), the share of Inter is 15.15%.
