The company Biosphere Holding Ltd., which is located in Cyprus, acquires stocks of Ivybrigde Ventures Limited. These actions will ensure the excess of 50% of the votes in the supreme governing body of the issuer.

In this regard, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), in February, initiated the consideration of the case of concentration in the form of the aforementioned acquisition.

The AMCU press service informs that the concentration will cover the market of household and personal care products (Hygiene), and specifically such products: sponges of different kinds (bath and kitchen), food packaging, cotton buds and discs, garbage bags, disposable dishes, napkins (dry and wet), plastic products.

Let's clarify that according to the state register, the founder of the Biosphere corporation Andrei Zdesenko is the final beneficiary of Biosphere Holding Ltd. and LLC "KPD" in the city of Dnepr (since 2006). The authorized capital of the latter is UAH 15.28 million, and the main activities are closely related to the directions of the "Biosphere" corporation. Also, A. Zdesenko is co-owner of the Vapiano restaurant network in Ukraine and founder of Charisma Fashion Group.

"Biosphere" is the professional leader in the manufacture and distribution of personal care products and home care. The Corporation has been operating in Ukraine for more than 20 years and is engaged in the sale of such brands as Freken Bock, Fresh Berry, Vortex, Eventa, Novina, Smile, Selpak, Lady Cotton and others.

In addition to Ukraine, the company operates in the territory of twenty countries of the world and owns approximately the same number of distributable and own brands. In the arsenal of "Biosphere" more than two hundred products and production has four plants, the total production area of which is 35 thousand square meters. In turn, the logistics complexes occupy an area of 18 thousand square meters. Also, it is worth mentioning that the corporation together with the Groupe Lemoine (France) has a joint ownership of the Estonian plant, which area is 8.5 thousand square meters.

A major manufacturer of home care products, Ergopak LLC is under 100% ownership of Ivybrigde Ventures Limited.

According to the information provided on the website, the company began its work in Ukraine since 1996 and acted as the distribution company "Ergoline". It imported goods for the country into the country and the trademark was called "Sushchany dym." The company has been active since 1999 and at the same time a modification was made to the production company Ergopak, which in 2007 launched its own production facility in Kanev. Since that year, Ergopak has been supplying the cleaning and kitchen plastics "Plafor", which is produced in Europe.

At the moment, the company's staff is more than a thousand people and it is one of the leading manufacturers of home care products in Ukraine. "Ergopak" also owns its own trademarks for the retail chains "ATB", "Auchan", "Billa", "Furshet", "Metro", "Expansion".

The company's revenue in 2016 is UAH 718.34 million and a loss of more than UAH 56 million. In the period from January to September 2017 it amounted to UAH 26.67 million of net income and UAH 571.74 million of net revenue.
