The law firm Asters in its press release announced the merger with the EPAP since October 1, 2018.
The combined company will include more than 250 employees – 26 partners and more than 140 lawyers. Two partners from "EPAP Ukraine" will not enter the united giant. Thus, it will become the largest firm in Ukraine with offices in Kiev and Washington.
The merger will end after obtaining regulatory permits. The new firm will concentrate the experience of the best lawyers, which will strengthen the expertise in the field of dispute resolution, as well as transactional and regulatory practices. The management of the firm will pass to the committee of three partners – Sergei Svirba from EPAC, Alexei Didkovsky and Armen Khachaturian from Asters.
Both law firms are leading in international and national rankings. The international rating of Chambers Europe 2018 noted the largest concentration of recognized specialists in one Ukrainian law firm – 22 lawyers.
