The investment company Concorde Capital has closed a deal to purchase 50% of shares in "OMP -2013", which operates in the market of money transmissions and payment systems in Ukraine.
November 20, 2014 – the company «OMP-2013» launched new payment system under the name Tyme in Ukraine. The potential customers of the new system can be Ukrainian banks, Ukrainian companies and municipalities - all that are connected with the utilities. Igor Mazepa is assured of great prospects of the market and expects to increase its market share to 40-50%.
According to the estimates of the IT-industry analysts, the information technology (IT) global market size during the last five years has increased by an average of 10% per year, while the average growth of the world economy is not more than 3.5%. Experts of the company Concorde Capital surmise that such rates will persist for the next five years.
Based on the NBU's data, during first half of 2014, the volume of electronic payments in Ukraine has increased by an average of 18% and reached UAH 694.3 billion.
