The General Director of Ingosstrakh Mikhail Volkov informed the journalists that the Russian insurance company INGO sold its Ukrainian insurance companies, namely the risk mitigation company INGO Ukraine and the life insurance company INGO Ukraine Life.

Mikhail Volkov also noted that the preparation for this transaction lasted for quite a long time. The information about the new owner of the assets and the cost of the transaction is not disclosed. The only known fact is that 305.5 thousand of ordinary registered stock shares were sold at the market value.

A couple of days ago, on July 3, it became known that the Joint-Stock Insurance Company INGO Ukraine purchased the total of approximately 25% of the Joint-Stock Insurance Company INGO Ukraine Life (Kyiv) from Ingosstrakh (Russia) and OOO Insurance Company Ingosstrakh-Life, which resulted in its ownership of the company's stock in the amount of 74.9952%.

Joint-Stock Insurance Company INGO Ukraine began its work in 1994, it has 28 licenses for different types of mandatory and optional insurance and owns 25 subsidiaries.
