Fidobank and Eurobank will be merged

Fidobank owner and shareholder of Eurobank, Alexander Adarich plans to merge Fidobank and Eurobank, as well as attract foreign investor. It is reported by the press service of Fidobank.

According to Alexander Adarich, they are waiting for the official approval of the strategic plan for development of the merged bank. The name of the new merged bank is not known yet.

Fidobank as of January 1, 2016 is on the 7th place in the first group of banks according to NBU classification. Fidobank has 56 branches and serves approximately 357 thousand of retail and 2.5 thousand of corporate clients. On October 1, 2015 the bank's regulatory capital amounted to UAH 767.6 million, assets - UAH 7.616 billion, customer deposits - UAH 4.824 billion, loan portfolio - UAH 3.651 billion.

Regulatory capital of Eurobank amounted to UAH 184.3 million, assets - UAH 1.634 billion, customer deposits - UAH 1.334 billion, loan portfolio - UAH 748.4 million as of October 1, 2015.
