The owner of the credit union "Volodar" Sergey Klimenko at the end of December 2013 bought Terra Bank from Ruslan Tsyplakov. Since December 2013 Sergey Klimenko has been heading the supervisory board of Terra Bank, and the company "Ukrainian Strategic Group" that he owns has taken possession of more than 99.6% of the bank.

Sergei Klimenko owns about 50 companies among which are a credit union "Volodar", a factoring company "BBC-Factoring", and a financial company "Toloka".

Ruslan Zyplakov is a friend of the younger son of the former President Viktor Yanukovich. Zyplakov and Yanukovich created a team of racers Ferrari Team Ukraine.

Terra Bank occupies 41st place in terms of its assets amounting to UAH 4.8 billion. The bank’s deposit portfolio runs at over UAH 3 billion.
